Real wood brings a warm and natural feel to your home. With a wide range of timbers available, there is a colour and texture to enhance any living space.

Our real wood floors come in two main formats. It is useful to be aware of these when choosing your flooring.

Floating Systems (or Engineered Boards)
This flooring is constructed of a 4-5mm pre-finished hardwood surface glued onto a stressed softwood backing. It comes in a stripwood or plank format that is fitted either as a floating floor system or glued directly to the floor.

Solid Boards
Solid wood boards are between 14-22mm thickness of solid timber. It comes in various widths and lengths. It can be either nailed directly to joists or glued directly to the floor.
